New line of parabolic antennas supports tactical network deployments through an innovative petal design, allowing antennas to be disassembled for compact storage and transit and reassembled without tools
HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill., December 4, 2025 – Cambium Networks (NASDAQ: CMBM), a leading global provider of networking solutions, today announced the release of a new line of parabolic antennas designed for tactical network backhaul applications as part of its Global Defense and Security (GDS) business. Cambium Networks Tactical Parabolic Antennas are high-gain directional antennas designed for compact storage and transportation. The innovative collapsible petal design allows the antennas to be quickly and easily assembled without tools, even while wearing gloves. The 2-foot antennas use three petals, and the 3-foot antennas use four petals, optimizing storage, assembly, and durability tradeoffs. The antennas are available in 4.4 GHz to 5.9 GHz and 7.1 GHz to 8.5 GHz frequency bands, and in white, green, or desert tan colors.
Key features include:
- 2-foot and 3-foot reflector sizes
- Perforated reflectors, reducing wind loading
- Collapsible petal design for simple, toolless assembly and disassembly
- Compatibility with PTP 45700 and PTP 78700 radios
- Tested to MIL-STD-810H environmental standards
- Standard N-type (x2) connectors
- Incorporated into LINKPlanner for path planning and performance modeling
Cambium’s Tactical Parabolic Antennas have been tested to military environmental standards, including MIL-STD-810H, for shock and vibration, temperature, humidity, altitude, corrosion, water and dust ingress, and wind loading.

“High-gain parabolic antennas are needed for long-distance, high-throughput, radio links, but they require large transit cases, which create a logistical burden when they have to be moved from site to site,” said Ryan Peterson, Vice President of Cambium Global Defense and Security. “Allowing antennas to be broken down into smaller pieces allows the use of smaller transit cases, saving valuable space and weight.”
Cambium Networks Tactical Parabolic Antennas are available for order immediately.
