Cambium has identified a factory programming error affecting certain ePMP Force 6 GHz units. These devices may be shipped without an AFC token provisioned and/or without the correct US/Canada country code applied. Consequently, affected units may fail to communicate with the AFC server, resulting in reduced EIRP limits or an inability to initiate radio transmissions.
The AFC section is not displayed in the UI, and no AFC server communication status is available.
Cambium has identified the affected MSNs/ESNs and will be able to inform you if your radios are impacted.
Once any affected units have been identified in your network, please contact the Cambium Technical Support team at your earliest convenience. The support team will remotely provision the affected devices with the required AFC token and country code configuration, restoring normal AFC operation. No hardware replacement or on-site service is required for this issue.
