Cambium Networks and XNET Partner to Bring Faster, More Reliable Mobile Connectivity to Hotels, Shopping Malls, Restaurants, Campuses, and Commercial Buildings

By Cambium Networks

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill., Dec. 9, 2025 – Cambium Networks (NASDAQ: CMBM), a global leader in wireless networking, announced today a new partnership with XNET INC, a decentralized network helping mobile carriers automatically connect phones to secure Wi-Fi. Together, the companies make mobile coverage stronger and more reliable in places where people often experience slow or spotty cellular service.

By combining Cambium Networks’ advanced Wi-Fi 6 and 7 solutions with XNET’s roaming technology, mobile carriers can seamlessly move data traffic from congested cellular networks onto fast, secure Wi-Fi without users changing settings or logging in. This improves the mobile experience indoors and across large properties.

“Our collaboration with XNET supports Cambium Networks’ customers to deliver the kind of next-generation wireless experience our service providers, hotels, and large property owners are asking for,” said Morgan Kurk, CEO at Cambium Networks. “The ability to boost mobile performance using Wi-Fi equipment they have already deployed provides immediate value to both operators and guests.”

The joint solution uses Passpoint (Hotspot 2.0), certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance, and SIM-based authentication, technology already built into most smartphones, to automatically and securely guide devices between cellular and Wi-Fi. The result is smoother connectivity in places where cell coverage typically struggles, including hotels, shopping malls, corporate campuses, industrial facilities, and public venues.

“This partnership is a major step toward improving the everyday mobile experience,” said James Childs, CEO of XNET. “Cambium’s enterprise-grade Wi-Fi, combined with XNET’s decentralized architecture, gives carriers and property owners a scalable way to boost mobile performance simply by using the Wi-Fi networks they already have.”

While the collaboration also introduces a standards-based path for future network monetization, both companies emphasized that the main goal is improving user experience, network reliability, and indoor coverage, priorities shared across Cambium’s customers and partners. Initial commercial deployments are underway, and results are demonstrating the anticipated performance and coverage benefits.

To support Cambium Networks customers and partners, the companies will co-host a technical webinar on December 18th to walk users through how to activate XNET on Cambium’s Wi-Fi platform. The session will include a live configuration demo, best practices, and a Q&A for network operators.
