Heroes Bridge the Digital Divide

By Atul Bhatnagar   August 12, 2020

“All of us might wish at times that we lived in a more tranquil world, but we don’t,” said Robert Kennedy. Much has changed in the more than 50 years since he made that claim, and clearly the world is not a “tranquil” place. Kennedy went on to reveal a worthy purpose, “And if our times are difficult and perplexing, so are they challenging and filled with opportunity.”

Just as computers and telecommunications have evolved, technology has increased our potential to help people. Right at the moment the world is challenged on multiple fronts we also have the opportunity to rapidly deploy wireless communications far faster and at a lower cost than fiber or wired infrastructure.

Each quarter, we celebrate the successes of those who put the needs of the community first. Our newest Wireless Connectivity Heroes have taken it upon themselves to leverage their time and talents to connect business, residences, schools and hospitals. They are thoughtfully planning and taking action to help their local communities. They are lighting the way in these difficult and perplexing times.

Cambium will continue to celebrate more heroes each quarter. Please take a moment to nominate an individual or company who is making a difference with wireless connectivity in your area.
