Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance

Our Philosophy

Cambium Networks is committed to being a good corporate citizen.  We prioritize adherence to the highest standards of integrity and conduct in our global business affairs and conduct our business affairs honestly and in an ethical manner.  Our reputation for innovation and integrity is important to us, and we have built our business on the fundamental value of trust and ethical and responsible behavior.  We expect similar behavior by our employees, customers, suppliers, and others with whom we do business.

To ensure compliance with the high ethical standards we have set for our business, we have developed a number of policies that we expect our employees, partners, suppliers and others doing business with us to adopt or adhere to.  The framework for these policies is established by our Code of Business Conduct, which is our guide to understanding how our core values are translated into consistent actions worldwide.

Responsible and Transparent Supply Chain

  • Our Supplier Code of Conduct

We have established a Supplier Code of Conduct that we expect our suppliers to adhere to.  The Supplier Code of Conduct reflects the basic tenets of ethical behavior and responsible management in areas including labor, health and safety, environment and ethics.  We expect our suppliers to conduct themselves with the highest standards of honesty, fairness, and integrity, complying with all applicable laws.

All of our suppliers are expected to acknowledge our Supplier Code of Conduct and adhere to its principles.  As applicable, our suppliers are also expected to follow the principles and requirements detailed in our Conflict Minerals Policy, and complete our materials disclosure form to submit material content of the parts and/or materials supplied to us.

Our Supplier Code of Conduct can be found here.
  • Conflict Minerals

We are committed to fair trade practices and a company culture that promotes social responsibility, as well as to working with suppliers that share our values regarding human rights, ethics, and environmental responsibility.  We are supportive of industry-wide efforts to responsibly source components used in the manufacture of our products and strive to advance responsible mineral sourcing in our supply chain through our policies and due diligence of our third-party manufacturers.

In response to rules and regulations of the Securities and Exchange Commission, we will publicly disclose our use of conflict minerals if those minerals are necessary to the functionality or production of our products manufactured on our behalf.  The term “conflict minerals” includes tantalum, tin, gold, or tungsten. Congress originally enacted the requirements that these rules implement because of concerns that the exploitation and trade of conflict minerals by armed groups is helping to finance conflict in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (“DRC”) or an adjoining country (together with the DRC, “Covered Countries”) and is contributing to an emergency humanitarian crisis.  A company that uses a conflict mineral is required to conduct a reasonable country of origin inquiry that must be performed in good faith and be reasonably designed to determine whether the conflict mineral originated in the Covered Countries or are from recycled or scrap sources.

We are committed to complying with any applicable disclosure requirements and have implemented a due-diligence process with our supply chain to meet the requirements of this rule.

As applicable, our suppliers are also expected to follow the principles and requirements detailed in our Conflict Minerals Policy, and complete our materials disclosure form to submit material content of the parts and/or materials supplied to us.
  • Our Statement on Modern Slavery

At Cambium Networks, we are committed to upholding fundamental human rights and believe that all human beings around the world should be treated with dignity, fairness, and respect.  We will only engage suppliers and direct contractors who demonstrate a serious commitment to the health and safety of their workers, and who operate in compliance with human rights laws.  Cambium does not use or condone the use of slave labor or human trafficking, and denounces any degrading treatment of individuals or unsafe working conditions.

Our Statement on Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking (as set forth in the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015) for the years ended December 31, 2019 and 2020, setting out the steps we have taken and are taking to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are not taking place within our business and our supply chain, can be reviewed here.
