About the acquisition

Who owns Cambium Networks now, and what changes for customers?

Univastu India Limited completed its acquisition of Cambium Networks on October 14, 2026. Cambium Networks continues to operate under the Cambium Networks name as a standalone subsidiary of Univastu.

The acquisition includes the ePMP and Enterprise businesses, including Wi-Fi access points, NSE, cnMatrix switching, and cnMaestro network management. Cambium is moving to resume production, and cnMaestro Cloud continues to operate.

Which company owns which products?

In September 2026, Airspan Networks acquired Cambium’s fixed wireless lines, including PMP 450 (among them the 3.65 GHz products), PTP 670, PTP 700, cnWave, cnReach, cnHeat and LINKPlanner. For these products, please contact Airspan at info@airspan.com.

Univastu acquired the rest of the business, which continues as Cambium Networks: ePMP, Wi-Fi access points, Wi-Fi home routers, cnMatrix switches, NSE, and Fiber/PON products (OLTs and ONTs).

The PTP 820 and PTP 850 licensed microwave radios were made for Cambium by Ceragon Networks. For new units and for support of existing ones, please contact Ceragon: Derek Underwood, VP Sales, dereku@ceragon.com.

Who owns cnMaestro?

Both Cambium Networks and Airspan have cnMaestro. Cambium Networks runs cnMaestro, in the cloud and on-premises, for ePMP, Wi-Fi, cnMatrix and NSE devices. Airspan will run cnMaestro for its own fixed wireless products.

We are working with Airspan on how accounts that manage both kinds of devices will be handled.

We do not have all the details yet, and we will update this answer as we learn more.

cnMaestro

Will cnMaestro Cloud keep running after October 31, 2026? Do I still need to move to on-premises?

Yes, cnMaestro Cloud continues to operate. The end-of-October shutdown announced earlier no longer applies, and you do not need to migrate to cnMaestro On-Premises.

Does cnMaestro X continue?

Yes. cnMaestro X continues to be available with cnMaestro Cloud. We will share details on individual X services as we confirm them.

Will cnMaestro Essentials stay free?

cnMaestro Essentials continues to be available as a subscription-free option.

Will my prepaid cnMaestro X subscription be honored?

Yes. Cambium will honor prepaid cnMaestro X subscriptions for their remaining term.

Will Cambium keep investing in cnMaestro?

Yes. Cambium will continue to invest in cnMaestro.

How do I renew or buy cnMaestro subscriptions?

We are working on this. How cnMaestro subscriptions are renewed and purchased depends on how cnMaestro is shared between Cambium Networks and Airspan, and that is not settled yet. We will update this answer as soon as it is.

Prepaid subscriptions you already hold will be honored for their remaining term.

I moved to cnMaestro On-Premises. Can I move back to the cloud?

If you have moved to cnMaestro On-Premises, you will need to remain on-premises. Customers using cnMaestro Cloud can stay there.

My on-premises controller is running a 90-day cnMaestro X trial. What happens when it ends?

If you are using cnMaestro Cloud, no urgent action is needed. Cambium will maintain the cloud.

If your on-premises controller is running a 90-day cnMaestro X trial, please open a support ticket and Cambium will issue a 90-day trial renewal for now. Cambium expects to charge for cnMaestro X on-premises at a later date, and details will be announced.

Products, orders and pricing

Will the current product range continue?

The Cambium Networks product range includes ePMP, Wi-Fi, cnMatrix, NSE and Fiber/PON.

The RV22 Wi-Fi home router reaches end of sale on November 12, 2026, as announced previously, and will continue to be supported in cnMaestro.

What is the future of NSE?

NSE is part of the Enterprise business that Univastu acquired, and it continues under Cambium Networks. We do not have roadmap details to share yet, but will update this answer as we learn more.

Is production restarting? When can I order and receive products?

Cambium is moving to resume production. You can place orders with your distributor or reseller now, to the extent they are taking orders.

We are working to resume shipping as soon as possible and expect to share shipping dates and lead times in early November.

We do not have all the details yet, and we will update this answer as we learn more.

What happens to orders I placed before the acquisition?

Orders placed before the acquisition remain valid, and we expect to fulfill them once shipping resumes. We will share timing as soon as it is confirmed.

How do I get a quote or place an order?

Please contact your distributor or reseller for quotes and orders. If you do not have one, contact marketing@cambiumnetworks.com and we will connect you with the right person.

Will prices stay the same?

We do not expect pricing to change immediately. Like other technology manufacturers, Cambium has been affected by higher memory prices and is evaluating a memory surcharge, which would appear as a separate line item. Any change will be announced.

Can Cambium still generate Xirrus AOS keys for legacy Xirrus access points?

Xirrus products are part of Cambium’s Wi-Fi business, which continues as Cambium Networks. We are confirming the process for generating Xirrus AOS keys.

We do not have all the details yet, and we will update this answer as we learn more.

Support and warranty

Do existing warranties and support contracts stay the same?

Yes. Cambium will honor existing warranties and support contracts on Cambium products for their remaining term.

For Airspan’s products, please contact Airspan at info@airspan.com. For PTP 820 and PTP 850 products, please contact Ceragon.

How do I get technical support or return a faulty unit?

Please contact Cambium Support through the normal route for support requests and RMAs, at support.cambiumnetworks.com. Turnaround times may be longer than usual while operations are restored.

Will RMAs and support tickets opened before the acquisition be covered?

Yes. Open RMAs and support requests will be honored, along with existing warranties and support contracts, for their remaining term. Turnaround may be longer than usual while operations are restored.

Distributors and partners

Do distributors and partners need to sign new agreements?

For the vast majority of distributors and partners, no new signature or other action is required. Their agreements include a clause that allows Cambium to assign them to a new entity, and Cambium will handle that assignment.

In some cases a signature may be required, and Cambium will contact those companies individually

Do distributors still order through CPOP?

Yes. CPOP remains the ordering system. Distributors will be able to place new orders with Cambium in CPOP once their agreement has been reassigned to the new entity. We do not have a date yet, and Cambium will notify distributors when that is complete.

Does the partner program continue for registered partners?

Yes. Your partnership with Cambium Networks continues. There is no change to your partner status at this time and no need to enroll in a new program. Fully approved deal registrations will be honored.

Any change to programs or pricing will be announced in the Partner Marketing Bulletin or a Distributor Notice.

Will rebates, price exceptions and deal registrations approved earlier be honored?

Rebates, price exceptions and fully approved deal registrations from before the acquisition are expected to remain intact and will be honored. Any change to programs or pricing will be announced in a channel notice.

We do not have all the details yet, and we will update this answer as we learn more.

What happens to MDF and co-op funds?

Cambium is reviewing the details of its partner programs and payments, including MDF and co-op funds. We do not yet have an answer on balances, unused funds or claims awaiting payment.

As soon as we have further information, we will contact you by email or through the MDF system in the partner portal.
