SAN DIEGO, AFCEA WEST 2013 BOOTH #1441, Jan. 29, 2013 – Cambium Networks™, a leading provider of wireless broadband access network solutions, today announced a strategic partnership with immixGroup for the distribution of Cambium’s portfolio of wireless broadband solutions to the public sector. Under this partnership arrangement, immixGroup, a unique reseller with an exclusive focus on the public sector, will drive new government sales opportunities and provide distribution services to Cambium. This partnership will provide agencies at the federal, state and local levels with the reliable, secure wireless connectivity solutions that also meet the stringent requirements of military and government in-field deployments.
Cambium is the only broadband microwave vendor to achieve certification from the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) for its wireless solutions. Both the Cambium PTP 600 Series and PTP 800 Series, which provide cost-effective, high-throughput connectivity and backhaul, are FIPS 140-2 validated, and the PTP 600 is the only microwave product currently available on the market with UC APL status. Both solutions have also earned JF-12 validation from the DoD, enabling customers in the federal market to utilize government spectrum to provide more sophisticated networks and complex deployments. As such, immixGroup customers in federal, military and civilian government agencies will be assured the ability to perform mission-critical communications and activities on tested and proven secure solutions for licensed federal bands. Cambium and immixGroup is showcasing Cambium’s government solutions at the AFCEA West conference, Booth #1441, Jan. 29-31, 2013 in San Diego.
“We are pleased to help Cambium Networks better serve its government customers by providing them with easy, reliable access to the company’s solutions through the contract vehicles they prefer,” said Art Richer, president, immixGroup.
“Cambium’s government solutions are designed to support the toughest reliability and security requirements for wireless connectivity there are—those specified by the DoD for their in-field operations,” said Rob Miller, director federal sales, Cambium Networks. “By partnering with immixGroup, we are expanding our presence in the public sector and making it easier for federal, state and local agencies to gain access to our portfolio of wireless broadband solutions for their voice and data communication needs.”
