As the spring nears, Cambium Networks is heading to Florida to check in with wireless ISPs and ISPs at ISP America 2012. Formerly known as the FISPA/WISPA Service Provider Summit, this year’s ISP America is jointly held by WISPA and FISPA and will address the opportunities and challenges facing our dynamic, ever-changing industry. Cambium will be joining the conversation to discuss issues facing industry stakeholders, innovation in mobile broadband, and federal activity that will shape the future of the industry.

Cambium’s Director of Product Management, Tom Moder, will be joining a panel of wireless manufacturers in a session entitled “Upcoming Broadband Wireless Technologies on the Horizon for ISP’s.”  Scheduled for Thursday, March 29th at 11:15 am CT, Tom will share his expertise on how current and upcoming technologies can address the bandwidth, spectrum and range challenges that WISPs around the world are facing.

In addition, Cambium will also be showing an upgraded version of its PTP 250 wireless Ethernet solution, which we debuted last week. Designed to deliver fast, reliable connectivity for enterprises, government agencies and service providers, the updated PTP 250 has been reengineered to offer more power, faster connectivity speeds and greater flexibility. With a powerful packet processor and optimized protocols to deliver best-in-class performance for small packet applications, such as on-demand video, video surveillance, video conferencing, and VoIP, Cambium will be available at the conference to speak about how our products and solutions meet the current needs of WISPs in today’s market.
