Philip Bolt

PHILIP BOLT, President and Chief Executive Officer

Phil Bolt is a respected leader and innovator in the communications technology industry. For more than 30 years, he has been a builder of highly successful organizations and a prime mover in the development and delivery of breakthrough technology systems for a wide range of industries and business sectors. Most recently he was vice president, Wireless Network Solutions, Motorola Solutions. His responsibilities included a variety of technologies and solutions including Point-to-Point, Point-to-Multipoint, Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN), Total Enterprise Access and Mobility (TEAM), Mesh and more. Phil joined Motorola Solutions from Orthogon Systems, where as President and CEO, he directed development of the industry leading non-line-of-sight wireless Ethernet bridges employing advanced technologies including space-time-coding and Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex (OFDM). Prior to joining Orthogon Systems, Phil spent over a decade with Nortel Networks as director of wireless research and development. Phil holds a number of patents in wireless engineering and graduated from Muller House College with Higher National Diploma in electronic engineering and MPT and BOT wireless engineering accreditations.

Nigel King

NIGEL KING, Chief Technical Officer

Nigel King’s career in wireless technology spans more than 40 years, and has included leading development teams for companies such as Racal, Standard Telephones and Cables and Nortel Networks. Immediately before becoming part of Cambium Networks’ executive team, he was a distinguished member of the technical staff at Motorola Solutions. Previously, Nigel was a founder and chief technical officer of Orthogon Systems, where he helped stimulate an intensive period of advanced development for wireless Point-to-Multipoint and Point-to-Point systems. At Orthogon, his focus was on producing class-leading non-line-of-sight performance as an essential and integral part of the product and solution feature set. At Nortel Networks, Nigel served in a variety of positions that culminated in his last role with the company as director of fixed wireless access systems at the Global Center of Wireless Excellence. Respected across the industry for his knowledge and expertise, Nigel is the named inventor in more than 25 patents. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering Honours Degree in electronics from Southampton University.

Tim Allen

TIM ALLEN, Chief Financial Officer

Cambium Networks’ Chief Financial Officer Tim Allen has more than two decades of financial leadership experience in providing strategic financial support and running finance teams and systems in distribution, retail and high-tech environments. He also has extensive expertise in managing relationships with lenders, shareholders, auditors and other professional advisors. Prior to coming to Cambium Networks, Tim spent five years in financial leadership with Motorola Solutions. Previous positions include CFO of Orthogon systems. Tim has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales since 1993 and graduated from the University of Birmingham with a BSc in Mathematics.

Tony Cecchin

TONY CECCHIN, Vice President, Product and Business Operations

Tony Cecchin is a 28-year veteran of the international telecommunications industry with an exceptional track record of leading global business operations in a number of highly successful organizations. Before joining Cambium Networks, Tony was general manager of the Canopy products organization within Motorola Solutions and was a key member of the management team in the divestiture process of the Canopy and Orthogon businesses. He also held various senior management positions at Motorola, including the North American Data Infrastructure business, the Public Safety and Commercial radio businesses and international business development efforts for the iDEN operation. Tony holds a BBA and an MBA from Loyola University of Chicago, and has three United States patents.

Robert Baker

ROBERT BAKER, Vice President, Development Engineering & NPI

Robert Baker has 25 years of high-level engineering and product development and management experience with high-profile companies in the global telecommunications industry. Prior to joining Cambium Networks, he was general manager of the Point-to-Point wireless portfolio at Motorola Solutions. He was serving as vice president of product management for Orthogon Systems when Motorola acquired the company in 2006. Prior to joining Orthogon, Robert was vice president of product management at Bookham Technology, a leading supplier of subsystems and components, which he joined in 2001 when Bookham acquired the Nortel Networks Optical Components division. Prior to Nortel Networks, Robert held management roles with Alcatel Optronics in France, and STC Submarine Systems in the UK. He holds a BSc from the University of York.

David Lightfoot

DAVID LIGHTFOOT, Vice President, Supply Chain

David Lightfoot’s 20-plus year career in wireless telecommunications includes experience in all areas of design, operations and manufacturing, working with some of the foremost companies in the industry. Respected for his expertise in and advocacy of lean manufacturing analysis and techniques, David has set up a number of advanced manufacturing facilities in the UK, Europe and Asia. Before joining Cambium Networks, he was senior operations manager with Motorola Solutions supporting the Wireless Broadband and Enterprise Mobility divisions. Prior to joining Motorola, he held a number of high-level positions with Orthogon Systems, most notably director of operations. Previously, he worked in product development, manufacturing and engineering services at Piping Hot Networks, which became Orthogon Systems. He has held management positions with Nokia Mobile Phones, Tellit Communications and Maxon Cellular Systems. David holds an HND in production engineering.

Gregg Kalman

GREGG KALMAN, Vice President, North American Sales and Marketing

With more than 20 years experience in the telecommunications industry, Gregg Kalman has high-level expertise in sales and marketing strategies and sales management. He has strong experience in building and managing channel strategies and in developing partnerships with vendors, resellers, consultants and service providers. Before becoming part of Cambium Networks, Gregg headed Motorola Solutions’ North American Wireless Network Solutions channel business. Previous positions include: vice president North American Channels at Meru Networks; vice president of worldwide channels at Network General Corporation; vice president of worldwide channel sales operations at Avaya; sales vice president of North American channel operations and distribution at Avaya; and manager of channel operations in Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin for Cisco Systems. Gregg has a BA from the University of Michigan.

Ian Bayly

IAN BAYLY, Vice President, EMEA Sales & Marketing

Ian Bayly has more than 15 years of experience in the wireless technology industry. Bi-lingual, and with extensive international postings in Europe, Africa, Asia and Australasia, Ian has built successful international sales teams worldwide. He is also a respected specialist in building sustainable channel ecosystems through distributors, value added resellers and system integrators, notably for new technologies and products. At Cambium, Ian’s go-to-market team focuses on carriers, ISPs, local government, industry, enterprise and military markets throughout EMEA. Prior to becoming part of Cambium Networks’ founding team, Ian was European sales director for Motorola Solutions. He was responsible for launching Canopy and leading the explosive channel sales growth for Motorola’s best-in-class wireless broadband solutions. Ian is a business graduate of the University of West London.

Anthony Sarallo

TONY SARALLO, Vice President, Latin American Sales and Marketing

Tony Sarallo has more than 20 years of sales leadership experience in the worldwide telecommunications business. He is accomplished in a unique array of disciplines including strategic planning, team leadership, partnership development and creative sales and marketing initiatives. Before joining Cambium Networks, Tony spent over two decades at Motorola and Motorola Solutions, for the last five years as director of sales, Wireless Network Solutions. Other positions with Motorola included director of worldwide channels for Latin America, where he played a leading role in the development and implementation of global go-to-market strategies for the Canopy fixed wireless broadband platform. He was also business development manager for the Internet Software and Content Group. Tony has a BS in business with a major in finance from Eastern Illinois University.
