Description
- Answer inbound calls and qualify sales leads
- Acquire, maintain, and provide product knowledge to potential clients
- Follow up on sales opportunities. Document, track, monitor and update leads using CRM tool.
- Conduct outbound cold calls to engage with and develop leads/prospects on behalf of the sales team
- Schedule appointments with specific targeted prospects as directed
- Maintain an up to date VAR reference guide in cooperation with the National Channel Management team
- Support channel operations including deal registration, portal access issues, partner pricing requests
- Provide sales operations support including order processing and delivery tracking
- Facilitate and provide support to close customer warranty issues
- Assist in coordinating demo equipment for customer demos and industry trade shows
Requirements
- 2+ years inside sales or lead generation experience preferably in a high tech industry
- 1+ years cold calling experience (tele-sales as well as email)
- Strong research, listening, and persuasion skills
- Bachelor’s Degree (Business or Marketing) desired but not required
- Previous track record of results in previous academic or work environments
- Solid understanding of marketing concepts including list management, customer lifecycle, channel management, and lead analysis
- Experience with Microsoft Office and CRM software (Salesforce.com or equivalent)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Constant and consistent professionalism
- Self driven, professionally assertive, tenacious, and results oriented
